Shipping Information
AIR FREIGHT

Courier
Courier is the quickest, most expensive means of transporting goods internationally. Transit time is 3 - 5 days depending on where you are.
The Fastest way to send your product in time is by using courier services such as: DHL, UPS and other courier company.
The cost for doing this shipment is also a bit higher compare to the other shipping services.
To serve our valuable customers, we have arrange a great contract rate from various courier companies.
Air Freight
The air shipment is one of the fastest shipment arrangements that we can offer.
We will arrange your shipment through the major airlines that provide flight service thrugh NGURAH RAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
Please be inform that the airline have 2 (two) different ways to measure the chargeable weight of your shipment, One is "actual weight" and the other is "volume weight". And than the airline will compare the result and that use the greatest numbers.
SEA FREIGHT
is the most economical means of transporting goods. There are two main ways to send goods by sea freight - LCL and FCL.
Another disadvantage in shipping LCL is the higher cost. The rate per cubic is often double that of shipping a full container. Even a half full 20ft container is sometimes more cost effective than an LCL shipment.
LCL - Loose Cargo or Less than Container Load is Sea Freight charged per cubic meter. Items are packed in specially designed wooden crates, made to measure for the size of your goods. LCL shipments have frequent handlings and thus some inherent risks, particularly with goods that are regarded as fragile. The cargo is held by the shipping company until space is available in a container with the same destination and, because of the wait, it can take twice as long for your goods to reach their final destination.
LCL shipments have some restrictions particularly for Australia. Shipments involving specialized fumigation, such as Ethylene Oxide cannot be sent LCL to Australia. These shipments must be sent as Full Container Load. Insurance on all shipments is recommended, especially LCL shipments, to cover against the possibility of damage during transit.
FCL (Full Container Load) - is available in 20ft (30 cbm), 40ft (60 cbm) and 40ft high cube (64 cbm) containers. Shipments sent FCL are loaded in Bali and unloaded at the destination, hence there is considerably less handling and moving of the goods.
For all FCL shipments, we take delivery of the container and personally supervise the packing, allowing us to have full control of how the goods are placed in the container, thus maximizing the available space and ensuring that everything is packed tightly and correctly.
FCL shipments are more cost effective than sending anything more than 13 cubic meters as LCL. Local clearance charges are charged per container or per cubic meter. More than 13 cbm and it is often more economical to send FCL.
Rates for 20ft, 40ft and 40ft high cube containers vary according to the shipping line, the destination and the time of year. Accurate estimates of shipping costs to the destination designated by you are available upon request. Shipping cost estimates include all fees incurred during the shipping process - packing, handling, documents, fumigation, license fees, etc.
We can provide quotes from a number of shipping companies and forwarders to suit your budget, however when we use our integrated cargo company we can guarantee delivery schedules and ensure a trouble free journey for your consignment.
Cost of Filling a Container
The cost of filling a container with a variety of goods - furniture, stoneware, handicrafts etc. - is generally between US $8,000 and $15,000 for a 20' container and between $15,000 and $25,000 for a 40' container.
For bulk shipments the price, of course, is considerably less. For example a 20ft container of landscaping rocks will contain approximately 1500 bags and will cost about US $4,000 to fill.
A 40' container is useful for large shipments that will otherwise exceed the volume of a 20' container where gross tonnage and maximum space is required. For example it is more cost effective to ship bulky bamboo furniture in a 40' container.
But on the other hand, because of weight limitations, a 20' container may be more economical when shipping heavier objects like stone or marble. A 40' HC, or High Cube, has the same length and width as a regular 40' container but the additional 12' in height increase the volume by 4 cubic meters.
Product Packing
Packing of both individual and bulk purchases are completed in our warehouse / cargo facilities. For handicraft products, the items are wrapped in plastic or bubble wrap then packed into cardboard boxes or, depending on the fragility of the item, a wooden crate with shredded paper. Larger items, i.e. furniture, are individually wrapped in foam sheeting and then corrugated cardboard for protection.
Large fragile items (ceramic pots, stone products, etc.) are wrapped and then a wooden frame is constructed to hold and protect the object during shipment. Silica Gel sachets are added to all packed products.
All packed items / boxes /crates are numbered and contents listed and correlate to the packing list and shipping invoice for your easy reference once you receive the shipment. We highly recommend that all container loads use Super Dry Units for moisture absorption control.
Export Documentation
Our handling of your cargo arrangements includes taking care of all the relevant export documentation required by the Indonesian authorities and special documentation required by the destination country such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Bills of Lading, Customs Clearances and Indonesia Fumigation certificates, etc. Cost for the preparation of these documents is included in the shipping cost estimate. When your shipment is ready to proceed and documentation is completed and released from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce all documents are forwarded via courier to your broker / agent.
Upon departure from Bali you will be given a copy of the shipping agreement with details of all packing, handling and shipping costs included, a shipping schedule with estimated time of departure and arrival of your goods, full contact details of our shipping agent in your country or region and, if time permits, a copy of the packing documentation to take home with you. Our shipping agent will then contact you. You may also contact us or our agent at anytime during the shipping process.

Insurance is available at 3% of the value of your goods and is provided by our shipping company. Otherwise we suggest you talk with your personal insurance broker and request short term coverage on your existing policies for the value and duration of your shipment.
